Clean the collection bag (
A
15) using
a brush and, if needed, compressed
air.
General maintenance
Prior to every use, check the appliance
for obvious defects such as loose, worn
or damaged parts.
Check covers and safety devices for
damages and correct installation. Re-
place as necessary.
Removal of clogging
and blockage
Leaf material and fresh plant parts may
clog / block the device.
Cleaning the impeller wheel:
Remove the batteries from the de-
vice! Risk of injury!
1. Open the protective cover (
7) or
remove the suction pipe (
16). See
section “Assembling/dismantling the
three-piece suction pipe” and/or “As-
sembling/dismantling the three-piece
blowpipe”.
2. Carefully remove residues or clogging
materials from the impeller wheel.
3. Check to make sure the impeller wheel
is easier to turn and is in undamaged
condition. Have our Service Centre re-
place a defective impeller wheel.
4. Close the protective cover (
7) or
screw the suction pipe (
16) back
into place.
See section “Assembling/dismantling
the three-piece suction pipe” and/
or “Assembling/dismantling the three-
piece blowpipe.
If the protective cover ( 7) and/
or the suction pipe (
16) is not
correctly screwed into place, it is
not possible to operate the device.
Storage
For storage purposes you can remove
the blow tube (
9) and/or the suction
tube (
16) and the catcher ( 15)
from the motor housing (
1) (see the
corresponding installation instructions
in the „Start-up” section).
Store the device in a dry place well
out of reach of children.
Disposal and protection
of the environment
Remove the battery from the device and re-
cycle the device, battery, accessories and
packaging in an environmentally-friendly
manner.
Machines do not belong with
domestic waste.
Do not throw batteries into dome-
sticwaste,re(riskofexplosion)
or water. Damaged batteries can
harm the environment and your
health if poisonous fumes or liquids
escape.
Hand over the device at an utilization
location. The plastic and metal parts
employed can be separated out and
thus recycled use can be implemented.
Ask our Service-Center for details.
Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.
Dispose of batteries in a discharged
state. We recommend covering the con-
tacts with an adhesive strip to protect
