Troubleshooting
The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions:
Fault Possible cause Remedy
No indication on the
display .
No battery inserted. Insert a battery.
Battery is empty. Replace the battery.
The appliance is in standby
mode.

Cleaning
Cleaning the appliance
CAUTION
► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, ensure that no moisture can penetrate into
the battery compartment during cleaning.
► Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning materials. These can damage the
surfaces of the appliance.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly
damp cloth with a little mild detergent.
Cleaning the turbine unit
♦ Unscrew the coupling  including the tap connector  from the appliance.
♦ Remove the sealing rings  from the coupling  and the tap connector . Clean the
sealing rings , the inside of the coupling  and the tap connector under running
water. Replace the sealing rings  in the coupling  and in the tap connector .
♦ Remove the turbine unit  from the appliance and pull the turbine unit  apart.
