First Flight Preparation


Remove and inspect contents

Begin charging ight battery

Assemble F4F Wildcat

Install receiver

Install fully charged battery

Bind the receiver to a transmitter, if applicable

Perform the Control Direction Test with the transmitter

Adjust ight controls and transmitter

Perform a radio system Range Check

Find a safe and open ying eld
u u
Plan ight for ying eld conditions

Maintenance After Flying


Disconnect ight battery from ESC (Required for Safety)

Turn o transmitter (Required for Safety)

Remove ight battery from aircraft

Recharge ight battery
u u
Clean aircraft (wipe o dirt, etc.)

Repair or replace all damaged parts

Carefully disassemble and store aircraft

Store ight battery apart from aircraft and monitor the battery charge

Make note of ight conditions and ight plan results, planning for future ights
