6.2 INSTALLATION OF MOTOR WITH REVERSIBLE POLES.
•Follow the instruction manual.
•Every time the speed is reversed, the motor must be at zero revs.
7.0 ALIGNMENT OF PULLEYS
The alignment of the pulleys can be carried out with the help of a
thread or steel rule.
Parallel alignment of the axles is attained when the taught thread
or rule touch the pulleys at points 1, 2, 3, and 4 in a straight line.
7.1 TIGHTENING AND REPLACEMENT OF BELTS
We recommend that the full set of belts is always replaced.
Tension is measured by the perpendicular force required on the
drag side.
Re-tighten the belts after two hours’ service.
