To avoid unexpected or unintentional start-up, make sure that the power switch is in the OFF
before connecting to a power source. Do not try to use the machine unless all the guards and other
safety devices necessary for machining are in good working order.
IMPORTANT POINT: For best sawing results, the upper ball bearing needs to be adjusted as
close as possible to the piece to cut.
ADJUSTING THE UPPER GUARD
1. Turn off the saw and disconnect the power source.
2. Loosen the lock knob A.
3. Move the upper guide B assembly up or down and re-tighten the
lock knob A.
