1.2 REGULATORY NOTICES
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits of a
Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are de-
signed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equip-
ment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses,
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance
with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communica-
tions. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful
interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at his
own expense.
1.3 UNPACKING INSTRUCTIONS
This box contains one dome drive and one Installation/Operation manual (C1490M).
Inspect all parts carefully. Save the shipping carton, boxes, and inserts. If an item
appears damaged, replace it in its box and contact the factory at 1-800-289-9100
or 1-559-292-1981 for a replacement. (International customers fax 1-559-348-1120
for authorization and instructions.) To return an item to the factory for repair, refer to
Section 8.0, WARRANTY AND RETURN, for instructions.
