CAUTIONS
1. Do not use with water that is microbi-
ologically unsafe or of unknown quality
without adequate disinfection before or
after the unit.
2. Some state and local laws and regu-
lations may pertain to the installation of
any plumbed-in components. Check for
compliance in your area.
3. Do not install filter near heat source.
4. Do not allow filter to freeze.
5. Do not expose filter to direct sunlight
or Ultra Violet radiation (UV).
6. Do not use filter beyond stated capac-
ity.
7. Do not attach to hot water lines.
WINTERIZING
Remove, drain and store in zip-lock bag
in refrigerator [up to 3 months]. Rinse
and flush filter completely before using.
Do not run winterizing fluid through
filter.
LIMITED WARRANTY
SHURFLO warrants its Faucets and Filters to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use, for a period of one (1) year from
the date of manufacture, or one (1) year of use, with proof of purchase. This limited warranty will not exceed two (2) years, in any event. Filter
limited warranty is 90 days from purchase.
The limited warranty will not apply to Faucets/Filters that were improperly installed, misapplied, or are incompatible with components not
manufactured by SHURFLO. SHURFLO will not warrant any product that is physically damaged, or altered outside the SHURFLO factory.
Returns are to be shipped postage to SHURFLO Elkhart, IN. SHURFLO shall not be liable for freight damage incurred during shipping. Package
returns carefully.
SHURFLO’s obligation under this warranty policy is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. All returns will be tested per SHURFLO
factory criteria. Products found not defective (under the terms of this limited warranty) are subject to charges to be paid by the returnee for the
testing and packaging of "tested good" units. Warranty replacements will be shipped freight prepaid. SHURFLO reserves the right to choose the
method of transportation. No credit or labor allowances will be allowed for items returned as defective.
This limited warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and no other person is authorized to give any other warranty or
assume obligation or liability on SHURFLO’s behalf. SHURFLO shall not be liable for any labor, damage or other expense, nor shall SHURFLO be
liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind incurred by of the use or sale of any defective product or part. Authorized
SHURFLO distributors (ASD) have the right to their own return/freight policies. Consult with the local ASD for their specific procedures. This
limited warranty covers products distributed within the United States of America. Other world market areas should consult with the distributor
for any deviation from this document.
SANITIZING
Follow manufacturer’s sanitizing pro-
cedures. Do not run sanitizing solution
through filter.
