Taking Pictures

You can choose settings appropriate for taking pictures of dark scenes,
such as nightscapes.
1 Press the four-way controller (3) in Capture mode.
The virtual mode dial appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (45)
to display the Night-scene mode
(
B) at the top of the dial.
3 Press the OK button.
4 Press the shutter release button.
The picture is taken.

Total shooting time will be longer than the set slow shutter speed
when the noise reduction function activates to reduce noise.
The shutter speed is slower when taking pictures of dark scenes. To
prevent camera shaking, secure the camera on a tripod or other
surface.
