Settings
The date and time selected in “Setting the Date and Time” (p.38) and
“Changing the Date and Time” (p.160) serve as the W (Hometown) date
and time. By using the world time function, you can display the time in a
city other than the Hometown (XDestination). This is useful when taking
pictures in a different time zone.
1 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [World Time]
on the [H Setting] menu.
2 Press the four-way controller (5).
The World Time screen appears.
3 Use the four-way controller (23)
to select X (Destination).
4 Press the four-way controller (5).
The Destination screen appears. The city that
is currently selected blinks on the map.
5 Use the four-way controller (45)
to change the Destination city.
The current time, location and time
difference of the selected city appear.
6 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [DST].

(On) or
P
(Off).
Select O (On) if the Destination city uses daylight saving time.
