Why is my Perfect Aire 3PATWH10002 Air Conditioner not cooling the room?
    • C
      Cynthia JonesAug 15, 2025
Your Perfect Aire air conditioner might not be cooling because the unit is too large or small for the room. Ensure all doors, windows, curtains, and openings are closed, and nothing is blocking the front grille. Allow sufficient time for cooling, especially in high outside temperatures. Check that the filter isn't dirty, the louvers are fully open and directed correctly, and the unit is set to COOL mode with an appropriate temperature. Relocate the unit if it's near a heat source. If the air is cool to the touch, double-check that openings are closed and nothing is obstructing the unit. If using Follow Me, move the remote away from the unit. Ensure the temperature sensor isn't touching the cold coil, and if needed, unplug the unit for 5 minutes, following the reset instructions.

If your Perfect Aire unit isn't turning on, reset the circuit breaker and ensure not too many items are on the same breaker. Check the plug connection and ensure the on/off switch (if applicable) is on. Try plugging the unit into another outlet. You can also unplug the unit for at least 5 minutes and follow the reset instructions on the plug.

Why does my Perfect Aire air conditioner keep cycling on and off?
    • G
      Gregg DavidsonAug 28, 2025
Your Perfect Aire air conditioner might be cycling on and off too frequently because the unit is not the correct size for the room. Check that the temperature sensor is not too close to the coils and that nothing is blocking the grille or side vents. Also, ensure there is no dirt or debris inside the unit or on the filter.

What to do if my Perfect Aire 3PATWH10002 Air Conditioner is cooling but the room is too warm and ice is forming?
    • X
      xbrightSep 1, 2025
If your Perfect Aire air conditioner is cooling, but the room is too warm and ice is forming on the cooling coil, it could be due to these reasons: * The outdoor temperature is below 64ºF (18ºC). To defrost the coil, set to FAN only mode. * The air filter may be dirty. Clean the filter, referring to the Care and Cleaning section. * The thermostat is set too cold for night-time cooling. To defrost the coil, set to FAN only mode, then set the temperature to a higher setting.

      brianortizSep 4, 2025
