How to fix a Perfect Flame PFISLP Grill that will not light?
    • K
      Kayla FullerJul 31, 2025
If your Perfect Flame Grill won't light, first push the igniter button to see if there's a spark. If sparking, ensure gas is reaching the burner by purging the line of trapped air, trying to match-light the burner, and confirming other burners function. Inspect the electrode and wire while pushing the igniter; if the spark isn't at the ignitor tip, the ignitor needs replacement.

What to do if my Perfect Flame PFISLP Grill has excessive flare-ups?
    • M
      Marc SingletonAug 5, 2025
To manage excessive flare-ups on your Perfect Flame Grill: * Keep the hood up while grilling. * Use low knob settings. * If needed, turn off one burner. * Preheat the grill for 10-15 minutes to burn off drippings. * Choose leaner meats. * Grill chicken on low, meat side down for 20 minutes, then skin side down for 20 minutes, following the steps above. * If flare-ups persist, move meats to the warming rack until flames subside. Never use water on gas flames, as it will damage your grill.

Why is my Perfect Flame PFISLP Grill generating low heat with the knob on 'HI'?
    • H
      Heather ConradAug 10, 2025
If your Perfect Flame Grill generates low heat even when the knob is in the 'HI' position, first, check if the issue is with just one burner. If so, clean the orifice and burner, clearing any blockages. Also, inspect the fuel hose for bends or kinks, ensure the air shutter is correctly adjusted, and verify proper gas supply and pressure. Pre-heat the grill for a full 15 minutes. If you are using LP gas, make sure the tank isn't empty.

      sharon34Aug 20, 2025
If the burner on your Perfect Flame Grill keeps blowing out, check for any defects and ensure it's installed correctly. Make sure the fuel mixture isn't too lean and that the gas supply is sufficient. Also, verify that the LP tank isn't empty.

Why is the heat low on my Perfect Flame PFISLP when using LP gas?
    • K
      Katherine RivasAug 26, 2025
The propane regulator assembly on your Perfect Flame Grill has an excess flow device that can be triggered by rapid pressure changes, leading to low flame and temperature. To prevent this, ensure all burner valves are OFF before opening the tank valve. Wait 5 seconds after opening the tank valve, then light the burners one at a time following the lighting instructions.
