The device is an Air Nibbler, identified by Item Number M552DB, designed for cutting various materials. It operates using compressed air and is a handheld tool.
The Air Nibbler is primarily used for cutting. Its operation involves holding the nibbler square with the work material and applying steady, even pressure while the motor is running. It's crucial not to force the tool, as excessive pressure can cause the punch to overheat and break, while too little pressure can lead to overheating and ineffective cutting. When a cut is completed, the nibbler should be removed from the work while the motor is still running, then turned off. If the nibbler jams during cutting, the throttle should be released immediately to determine the cause of the jam before restarting. The tool is not designed to be freed by starting and stopping the motor.
These specifications are subject to change without notice.
The Air Nibbler requires a clean air source with the correct pressure. A maximum of 90 PSI at the tool is recommended for most air tools of this class. Depending on the length of the air hose and other circumstances, the compressor pressure might need to be increased to 100 PSI to ensure 90 PSI at the tool.
