Adjust the Fence (Fig. 20–22)
The fence can be adjusted in various ways to accommodate the size and shape of a particular
workpiece. For example, you can:
• Loosen the lock knobs (1)
that secure the fence to the
table and slide the fence
toward the front or rear of
the table. This will set the
in-feed (left) side of the
fence to support the
workpiece (Fig. 20).
• Loosen the lock knobs (2)
on a fence panel and slide
the panel to the left or the
right (Fig. 21).
• Loosen the lock knob (3)
that moves the left side of
the fence forward or
backward. Set this panel to
support the workpiece after
it is cut (Fig. 22).
