What to do if the Power/Ready LED stays red after a boot on Perle Server?

If the Power/Ready LED on your Perle Server stays red after booting, there are a couple of things you can check. First, in Console mode for desktop models or by viewing the Console port in rack mount models, verify if you need to reload the firmware. You can find the firmware on the CD-ROM that came with your IOLAN or on the Perle website (www.perle.com/downloads), selecting your specific IOLAN model on the webpage. If the bootloader option doesn't appear when you reboot the IOLAN to load new firmware, you'll need to arrange to return the IOLAN. If you've had the IOLAN for less than 30 days, contact your distributor; otherwise, check the Perle website (www.Perle.com) for factory service information.
