Using the Parking Brake
1. Come to a complete stop.
2. Apply the parking brake. Pull upward on the parking
brake lever until it reaches an over (top) center posi-
tion. (The PARK light on the dash will come on.)
NOTE: Ensure the lever is over center. The light will
come on prior to brake being fully applied.
3. Shift the transmission into NEUTRAL position:
4. Turn the key OFF.
5. Remove the key.
6. If you are parked on a grade, always block the
wheels.
