Tension
Once
the
bobbin
thread
tension
has
been
set correctly,
the
final stitd1

pearance
can
be
regulated by
the
upper
tension dial.

In

interlock
on

underside

the
fabric.
Cause:
Upper
tension
too
loose
or

ower
tension
too
tight.

the threads interlock
on
the
surface
of
the fabric.
Cause:
Upper
tension
too
tight
or
lower tension
too
loose.
In
zigzag
sewing, the lock
of
the
thread
should occur exactly
at
the zigs
ana
zags
of
the
seam
(Fig.
32).
