The
heavier
the
fabric,
the
longer
the
stitch
length
you
need.
Maximum
stitch
length
is
6.0
mm.
With
saddle
stitch
program

you can
also
sew
elastic
fabric.
In this
program,
in
contrast
to the
stretch
triple
straight
stitch,
only
every
second
stitch
is
sewn
threefold.
It is, therefore, also suitable
for
topstit
ching
work
on
jackets
and
coats.

TIP:
If you
wish
to
topstitch
a
collar
edge
with
this
program,
extend
the
stitch
length
to the
desired
length
up to
4—6
mm.
Use
the
functions
“needle
down”
and
“single
pattern”.
Do
not
press
the
single
pattern
key until
you
reach
the
last
stitch
before
the
corner.
The
machine
stops
after
the
stitch
and
the needle
stays
in the
material.
Now
turn
the fabric
and
switch
off
the
“single
pattern”
key.
You
can
set
1 5 needle
positions
with
the
numbered
keys
5 and
6.
