STATION NAME |
You can manually enter names for preset stations
which will be shown on the display when you are
tuned to that preset number.
The name can be a combination of figures,
letters, symbols and spaces and can be made up
of a maximum of 5 characters.
e Choose a preset number with the digit keys 5.
e Press the SND key 13.
The display shows ENTER MAME
The flashing cursor ae the location for the
input.
e By pressing the digit/alphabet keys 5
repeatedly you can select the desired name. To
move the cursor to a next or previous position
use the TUNING ~/+ keys 19.
e Press SND 13 again to store the name in the
memory.
Notes:
~ |f the SND key 13 Is pressed and no is has
been selected, the display will show fF
MreeE oe T for two seconds.
— Peat ine) is automatically interrupted !f you
fail to push any key within 1.5 minutes.
Changing a name
e Press the SND key 13. The first character of
the existing name starts to flash.
e Enter the new name and press the SND key 13
again to store it in the memory.
Efasing a name
e Press the SND key 13. The first character of
the name starts to flash.
e You can now erase a character by moving the
cursor to the desired position, after which you
press the digit key ‘YZ/I_I, 9’ three times (I_]).
e Press the SND key 13 again. The name or
character has now been erased
DISPLAY
« Press the DISPLAY key 16 to select the station
name to be shown on the display.
If this key is pressed when the ee has no
name, the display will show Ml) MARTE and will
then return to showing the Cadence
If this key is pressed while no oe has been
selected, the display will show MO PRESET,
SCAN
e By pressing the SCAN key on the system re-
mote control you can scan all stored preset
stations.
The unit will now scan all stored preset
stations, beginning with the current preset. You
will hear 10 seconds of the Piogiet on each
Station.
The display shows (CF for two seconds and
then during the ane 8 seconds the preset
number and frequency or name of the preset
Station that is being scanned.
e By pressing SCAN again you can stop the
scanning function at the preset station you
wish to hear.
e The scanning function stops automatically
when all presets have been scanned.
Note: |f stations are too weak, the scanning
function will not stop on these presets.
SLEEP
The sleep timer can be used to set a time period
after which you wish your system to be switched
to standby mode.
e Press the SLEEP key 20.
e The acne, shows tne INGIEAHON SLEEP and the
message LEER |
This means “hat ie ens will be switched to
standby after 90 minutes.
e Every time you press the SLEEP key 20 again
(within 4 seconds) the period will oe eed
by 19 minutes: HE PHY —> BL! FIN —> HS Py

° When ine SLEEP key 20 is sneer after the 15
minutes position the display will show SLEEP
~ and the SLEEP indication does not ant up
anymore.
Notes:
e During the last minute of a sleep timer period
the SLEEP indication on the display flashes to
indicate the end of the Sleep timer.
e During an active sleep timer, you can reset the
time to #0) MN again by pressing the SLEEP
key 20.
e Asleep timer period will be cancelled when
you switch your system to standby (with the
standby key on your remote control) or when
you switch the receiver off with the POWER
STANDBY/OFF key 1.
