5. Self-Check mode
Self-Check mode is NOT an exhaustive dianosis, but a quick preliminary check on all the hardware function.
5.1 The following to be carried out before Self-Check mode:
i) Power meter should be in-placed to monitor system power.
ii) Minimum water level in the water tank
iii)Make sure Soleplate is <100°C
5.2 Reset product to Factory Mode Test (FMT) Flow
Start
Remove
water tank
Press and hold
Power and ECO buttons
Turn on mains power /
Plug in mains cord
without releasing
buttons
Tank Empty LED
(Amber) turns on?
YES
Tank Empty LED will remain
on for 3 secs. Release
Power button
YES
NO
Turn off mains
power / Unplug in
mains cord
Wait for at
least 5
secs
Is time <3
secs?
NO
Press and release the
steam trigger twice
within 0.5 sec interval
Successfully
Entered FMT
LEDs light up to
show firmware version
for 2 secs
YES
NO
If fail to enter Factory Mode Test
(FMT), could be due to:
1. No power to PCBA
2. Button(s) malfunction
3. Steam trigger malfunction
4. Timing incorrect
