7 Update the firmware
Before you update the rmware, check current rmware version of the player.
Tocheckthermwareversion,
• On the Home screen, go to [Setup] > [MISC] > [Version Info.].
UpdatethermwarethroughtheInternet
1 Connect the player to the Internet.
2 On the Home screen of the player, select [Setup] > [MISC] > [Online upgrade].
» If a rmware update is detected, you are prompted to start the update.
3 Follow onscreen instructions to complete the update.
» When the update is complete, the player switches off automatically, and
then switches on again.
Updatethermwarethroughastoragedevice
1 On your computer, do the following:
• Go to www.philips.com/support to nd the latest rmware.
• Search for your model and click on "Software and drivers".
• Download the rmware update and save the le to the root directory
of a USB storage device.
2 On the player, do the following:
• Connect the USB storage device.
• On the Home screen, select [Setup] > [MISC]> [USB upgrade].
» If a rmware update is detected, you are prompted to start the update.
3 Follow onscreen instructions to complete the update.
» When the update is complete, the playerswitches off automatically, and
then switches on again.
