7.1.3 Engine failure in flight (Forced landing)
1. Speed - keep gliding speed at 55 kts
- sink rate 180 feet/min
2. Altitude - below 100 feet: land in take-off direction
- over 150 feet: choose landing area
3. Wind - evaluate direction and velocity
4. Landing area - choose free area without obstacles
5. Air brake - extend as needed
6. Fuel valve - off
7. Ignition - off
8. Safety harness - tighten
9. Master switch - off before landing
10. Land
