8. Installation
For more detailed information about installation of
the control unit see manual for vacuum conveyor.
8.1 Mounting of the CU-1/2 A/B
The control unit can be mounted either on the
vacuum conveyor at the mounting girdle (available as
accessory) or at a wall or stable post.
The recommended maximum length for pneumatic
hoses is 10 meters.
8.2 Compressed air
We recommend compressed air be used of at least
quality class 3, as to particle size and concentration
of solid contaminants (ISO norm 8573.1). This means
that only a maximum of 5 mg/m3 of a maximum of
5 µm size particles may be present in the
compressed air.
8.3 Position of the operator
The operator shall be at a position where he can
easily access the control unit CU-1/2 A/B to control
the conveyor.
