2. Safety instruction
2.1 General safety
The control units described in this manual is
designed for implementation in industrial systems
and therefore it must not be used with the
conditions
other than those specified.
The correct use of the equipment within a system is
the responsibility of the system designer or person
responsible for the technical specifications. The
machine owner will certify the final commissioning
according to the regulations in force for each
individual country
Caution!
Do not install or operate your control unit if
damaged during transport, handling or use.
Using a damaged product may cause injury
or property damage.
2.2 Installation in a safe way
Note!
•
Make sure to follow the diagrams
connecting the hoses between control
unit and vacuum conveyor.
•
If the control unit will be integrated and
installed in another main system, a risk
analysis needs to be carried out for the
system as a whole.
2.3 Safe usage
The following shall be observed to ensure safe usage
of control unit CU-1A/1B/2A/2B:
Note!
•
Read the manual before starting the
installation and operation.
•
Only trained people/staff shall operate
the control unit CU-1A/1B/2A/2B together
with a Piab piFLOW® vacuum conveyor.
•
Follow the start-up procedure for the
complete vacuum conveying system.
