Using CD TEXT
functions
Some
discs
have certain infol-mation encoded
on the
disc
during
manufacture. These discs
may
contain
such
in'formation
as
the CD title,
track
title artist's
name
and playback
time
and are called CD
TEXT
discs. Only these spe-
cially encoded CD
TEXT
discs
suoport
the
functions
listed below.

Scrolling
titles
in
the
display
This
unit
can display the first
19
letters only
of
D.Title, D.Artist, T.Title and T.Artist.
When
the recorded in'formation is longer
than
19
let-
ters, you can scroll
the
text to the left
so
that
the rest of
the
title can
be
seen.
• Keep touching DI5P until the title be-
gins to
scroll
to
the left.
The rest of the
title
will appear in the dis-
play.~
