Why is there no sound output from my Pioneer DJ Equipment?

  If you're not getting any sound, there could be a few reasons. First, ensure the audio cable is securely plugged in. Then, check the switch and volume settings on your DJ mixer to make sure it's working correctly. Also, check if the jacks or jack plugs are dirty and clean them if necessary. Finally, verify that the controller is not in pause mode; if it is, press the play/pause button.

Why does track searching fail to halt with Auto Cue function turned on in my Pioneer MEP-7000 DJ Equipment?

  Track searching may take longer if there are long silent portions between tracks. If a search cannot be performed within 10 seconds, the track's start is set as the cue point. Hold the TIME/A.CUE button for one second or more to set the Auto Cue mode to OFF.

  Excessive noise during disc playback can occur if the disc is severely warped or scratched. Try replacing it with a new disc. Also, the disc may be unusually dusty or dirty, so wipe away any dust or dirt.

  This message appears when the unit detects an electrical current stronger than allowed on the USB1 or USB2 port. To restore normal operation, follow the directions in 'Connecting a USB storage device' (P. 26). The unit's allowable current is 500 mA or less per port. Use USB storage devices that meet these standards. If using a bus-powered USB hub, connect the USB storage device directly to the unit.

  If playback doesn't start after inserting a disc, the Auto Cue function might be turned on. Press the play/pause button to start playing, or hold the TIME/A.CUE button for at least one second to turn Auto Cue mode off. Also, the CD-R/RW, DVD ±R/RW or other media may be of poor quality, so try replacing it. Check P. 11 'REGARDING PLAYABLE DISCS AND FILES' regarding supported formats.

  If playback stops shortly after starting, check if the disc is inserted upside down. Reinsert it with the label side facing upward. Also, inspect the disc for dirt or condensation and wipe it clean if necessary.
