order
to
protect
the
inside
of
Gus
unit
fom
vibration
and
shocks
during
transportation,
the
internal
mechanism
is
fixed
wit
transportation
screws.
Before
using
the
player,
remove
the
throe
tansportation
screws
located
on
the
bottom
panel
by
turning
the
screws
counter
clockwise
with
a
Philips
or
flat-blade
screwdriver
if
this
unit
is
placed
with
the
top
panel
of
right-side
panel
down
after
the
screws
have been
removed,
the
internal
mechanism
will
fall
Be
sure
to
place
the
unit
with
left
side
panel
down
and
remove
the
screws
{red
x
3).
Before
tilling
the
unit,
confirm
that
no
discs
are
inserted
in
the
player.
Do
not
tilt
this unit
with
discs
left
inside
it,
for
this
will
cause
malfunction.
Transportation
screws
(red)
Retain
all
screws
as
they
will
be
necessary
when
the
unitis
to
be
transported.
Never
remove
any
screws
other
than
the
transportation
screws,
When
re-transporting
this
unit
in
the
future,
remove
all
discs
in
the
player
and
close
all
Racks
(page
8).
Turn
off
the
POWER
STANDBY/
ON
switch
and
leave
the
unit
in
STANDBY
mode
for
10
seconds
or
more.
And
then,
tighten
the
transportation
screws
by
turning
them
with
the
crossed
ro
flat-blade
screwdriver
clockwise
until
it
stops.
Be
careful
not
to
tighten
the
screws
too
firmly,
When
tightening
the
screws,
place
the
unit
with
left
side
panel
down

POWER-CORD
CAUTION
Handle
the
power
cord
by
the
plug.
Do
not
pull
out
the
plug
by
tugging
the
cord
and
never
touch
the
power
cord
when
your
hands
are
wet
as
this
could
cause
a
short
circuit
or
electric
shock.
Do
not
place
the
unit,
a
piece
of
furniture,
etc.,
on
the
power
cord,
or
pinch
the
cord.
Never
make
a
knot
in
the
cord
or
tie
it
with
other
cords.
The
power
cords
should
be
routed
such
that
they
are
not
likely
to
be
stepped
on.
Adamaged
power
cord
can
cause
a
fire
or
give
youan
electrical
shock.
Check
the
power
cord
once
ina
while.
When
you
find
it
damaged,
ask
your
nearest
PIONEER
authorized
service
center
or
your
dealer
for
a
replacement.
