Why won't my Pit Boss CHARLESTON maintain a stable temperature?

If your Pit Boss Grill will not achieve or maintain a stable temperature, check the burn pot for ash build-up or obstructions, and ensure the fan is working properly and the air intake is not blocked. Also, check the auger motor to confirm operation and ensure there is no blockage in the auger tube. Check the hopper to ensure the fuel level is sufficient and replenish if low. If the hardwood pellets are of poor quality or too long, this may cause an obstruction in the feed system. Check the status of the Grill Probe (Sensor), following the Care and Maintenance instructions if it is dirty. If the 'P' setting is too low, push the 'P' SET button and increase the setting.
