A gas leak can also be caused by a corroded, rusted, or mishandled gas cylinder, so replace it if necessary. If the regulator has failed, contact Customer Service for a replacement part.

When grilling fatty meats, ensure the cooking surface is cold and the knobs are on the 'LOW' setting. Also, try cooking at a lower temperature, keeping it under 176°C / 350°F when cooking highly greasy food, as grease has a flash point.

Follow the Care and Maintenance instructions to clean the burner tube. Also, empty and reinstall the grease cup if it's full and spilling, following the Care and Maintenance instructions. Ensure the regulator valve connection to the gas cylinder is correct by removing and reinstalling it, then perform a leak test. If the burner is dirty, turn the regulator knob to HIGH for five minutes to burn off the unit, following the Care and Maintenance instructions.
