Limited Warranty and Customer Service
This limited warranty shall not apply to damage or repair costs caused by:
1) Failure to operate, maintain, and service, as specied in the GEM car Owners
Manual.
2) Abuse, misuse, neglect, accident, collision, or operation other than the
specied design, use and speed.
3) Alteration or repair outside of factory specications.
4) Use of components, including batteries, not specied in the applicable
owner’s manual or any damage avoidable with the proper use of specied
GEM car components.
5) Owner should contact selling dealer or Customer Service for currently
approved battery manufacturer and model information.
6) Fading, deterioration or weathering of seats, oor mats, composite parts or
paint caused by ordinary wear and tear of exposure.
This limited warranty shall not apply to normal maintenance. This maintenance
includes, but is not limited to, battery uid replenishment, brake adjustment,
brake uid replenishment, and brake shoes. Consumables such as light bulbs,
fuses, etc. are not covered.
Our dealers are independently owned and operated, and may sell products
other than GEM cars. Therefore, you should understand that Polaris is not, and
cannot be, responsible for the quality, suitability or safety of any non-genuine
GEM car parts, accessories or design modications, including labor, which
may be sold and/or installed by a GEM dealer or anyone else, or any damage
caused thereby.
