What to do if my Polaris Snowmobile drive system is making noise?
- RRegina WilsonSep 2, 2025
Noise in the drive system can stem from several issues: broken drive clutch components, bearing failure in the chaincase, jackshaft, or front drive shaft, drive belt surface flat spots, a loose drive chain, or a worn drive chain with broken sprocket teeth. Inspect and replace the drive belt as needed if there are flat spots. Inspect and adjust (or replace) the drive chain if it's loose. For broken clutch components, bearing failure, or a worn drive chain, it is suggested to seek assistance from your dealer.
