Wear Strips
To avoid excessive tunnel wear, t unnel wear strips must be installed
whenever track studding is used. Several wear strips are available.
See your dealer for more information.
Some models are manufactured with tunnel wear strips or wear strip
coolers installed. Wear strips are designed for a specific stud length.
See your dealer’s studding chart for recomme nded traction accessories.
Components as viewed from the rear of the track:
1. Top of tunnel
2. Wear strip
3. Track
4. Wearstrip mounting holes
CAUTION
Whenever wear strips are relocated, be sure there’s adequate
stud clearance to the heat exchangers. Lack of clearance may
result in damage to heat exchangers.
