Cleaning and Storage
Cleaning the Exterior
The best way to preserve your vehicle’s finish is to wash the vehicle regularly. Use GEM
Fiberglass Plastic and Rubber Restorer or mild liquid detergents. Do not use strong soaps or
chemical detergents. Rinse promptly. Dry the finish with a soft, clean chamois or towel to
avoid surface scratches and water spotting.
Tip: To prevent spotting, avoid washing the vehicle in direct sunlight.
Protection From the Elements
Prolonged exposure to sunlight may deteriorate the exterior and interior finish. Park the vehi-
cle in a garage or similar structure, or cover the vehicle with a GEM vehicle cover.
