Always check and change the
transmission oil at the intervals
outlined in the P eriodic Maintenance
Chart beginning on page 64.
Maintain the oil level at the bottom
of the fill plug hole.
The transmission fill plug (1) is
located on the left side of the
ATV, under the rear fender, behind
the wheel . The drain plug (2) is
located behind the wheel well.

Oil Check
1. Position the vehicl e on a
level surface.
2. Place the transmission in
gear.
3. Lock the parking brake.
4. Remove the fill plug. Use
a 15mm wrench.
5. Check the oil level.
6. Add t he recommended oil
as needed. Do not overfill.
7. Reinstall the fill plug.
Torque to specification.
