MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Front Gearcase Oil
Oil Change
1. Position the vehicl e on a
level surface.
2. Place the transmission in
gear.
3. Lock the parking brake.
4. Remove the fill plug. Use an 8mm
Allen wrench.
5. Remove the drain plug. Use an
11mm wrench.
6. Drain the fluid into a drain pan.
Dispose of oil properly.
7. Clean and reinstall the drain
plug. Torque to specification.

8. Add the recommended
oil. See page 75.
9. Reinstall the fill plug.
Torque to specification.
Seepage75.
10. Check for leaks.
