MAINTENANCE
Oil and Filter Change
1. Position the vehicle on a level
surface.
2. Place the transmission in PARK.
3. Start the engine. Allow it to idle
for two minutes.
4. Stop the engine.
5. Clean the area around
the drain plug.
6. Place a drain pan under
the vehicle.
7. Remove the drain plug.
Use a 6 mm Allen
wrench.
8. Drain the oil.
9. Clean the drain plug. Reinstall the drain
plug with a new sealing washer.
10. Torque to specification. See page 59.
CAUTION
Hot oil may result in serious burns. Do not allow hot oil to contact skin.
