Engine Inspection Procedures
Timing Chain
Inspect timing chain.
S Replace timing chain if any damage,
obvious wear and tear, or broken / mis--
shaped plates are found.
Valve Removal
1. Install rocker arm shafts. Install valve spring
compression tool, PN--PW--46991. Push lever down,
and withdraw valve keepers.
2. The valve will now fall out of the bottom of the cylinder.
Always keep the valve with its original location.
