Transmission Oil Check
The gearcase fill plug is located on the side of the
gearcase on the right side of the ATV. Maintain
the oil level at the bottom of the fill plug hole
threads.
Always check and change the oil at the intervals
outlined in the Periodic Maintenance Chart
beginning on page 110. Polaris recommends the
use of AGL Synthetic Gearcase Lubricant. See
page 174 for the part numbers of Polaris prod-
ucts.
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove the fill plug.
3. View the oil level through the fill hole.
4. If the level is low, add the recommended oil.
5. Reinstall the fill plug.
