Spark Arrestor
1. Remove the three bolts and remove the
arrestor from the end of the muffler.
2. Use a non-synthetic brush to clean the
arrestor screen. A synthetic brush may
melt if components are warm. If necessary,
blow debris from the screen with com-
pressed air.
3. Inspect the screen for wear and damage.
Replace the arrestor if damage is found.
4. Reinstall the arrestor.
5. Torque the bolts to 7 ft. lbs. (9.5 Nm).
