      Drive belt wear or burn on your Polaris Offroad Vehicle can occur due to several reasons: * Driving onto a pickup or tall trailer in high range. * Starting out going up a steep incline. * Driving at low RPM or ground speed (3-7 MPH/ 5-11 km/h). * Insufficient warm-up at low ambient temperatures. * Slow/easy clutch engagement. * Hauling heavy cargo/ pushing at low RPM/low ground speed+. * Utility use/plowing. * Being stuck in mud or snow. * Climbing over large objects from a stopped position. To prevent this, use low range during loading, on steep inclines, and when hauling heavy loads. Drive at a higher speed or use low range more frequently when driving at low RPM.
