6. With the clutch spreader tool

installed , loop the belt over the drive clutch
and over part of the driven clutch.
7. Rotate the driven clutch and walk the belt into the clutch.
8. Remove the clutch spreader tool from driven clutch.
9. Rotate / spin the driven clutch and belt approximately 5-7 times to properly
seat the belt in the driven clutch.
10.Reinstall clutch cover and nine (9) clutch cover screws. Torque to
specifications.
TORQUE
35 in-lbs (3 Nm)
PVT DRYING
There may be some instances when water is accidently ingested into the PVT
system. Use the following instructions to dry it out before operating.
NOTICE
When washing the vehicle, always avoid spraying water directly toward the
PVT intake duct. See the Washing the Vehicle section for details.
1. Remove the clutch cover drain plug.
2. Allow the water to drain. Reinstall the drain plug.
3. Place the transmission in PARK. Apply the brakes.
4. Start the engine.
