The vibrometer can be controlled via the front panel and via the interface. The
status REMOTE is set when an IEEE-488/GPIB bus controller asserts the
signal REN and addresses the controller.

REMOTE. In this mode, it is only possible to operate via the interface
IEEE-488/GPIB. Key input on the front panel is ignored, only the key RESET
retains its function.
