Instrument Panel Brightness Control
This feature controls the brightness of the instrument
panel lights.
The knob for this feature is located in the center of the
interior lamps control.
Press the knob and it will extend. Turn the knob
clockwise to brighten the lights or counterclockwise to
dim them. Press the knob in when not in use.
Illuminated Entry
With illuminated entry, the interior of your vehicle will
illuminate for 25 seconds so you can see inside your
vehicle before you enter. To activate illuminated entry,
do the following:
D
Unlock a door using the key when the interior lamps
control is in DOOR, and when the ignition is in
OFF, or
D
press UNLOCK on the optional remote keyless entry
transmitter when the interior lamps control is in
DOOR, and when the ignition is in OFF.
After 25 seconds, the interior lamps will slowly
fade out.
The lamps will turn off before 25 seconds if you do one
of the following:
D
Lock all the doors using the key.
D
Press LOCK on the optional remote keyless
entry transmitter.
D
Press the power door lock switch forward.
D
Turn the ignition to ON.
When any door is opened, illuminated entry is cancelled.
The interior lamps will stay on while any door or the
liftgate is open, and slowly fade out when all doors and
the liftgate are closed.
