28 Opening and Locking
Not all vehicle doors are locked.
The central locking system has failed. The doors
must be locked with the emergency locking
operation.
1. Open the passenger’s door.
2. Remove cover A.
3. Press red slide B with the key bit in the
direction of the arrow.
For information on folding out the key bit:
Please observe the chapter “FOLDING OUT
THE KEY BIT” on Page 29.
4. Fit cover A again.
5. Repeat procedure at the rear doors.
6. Close all doors.
7. Lock the driver’s door with the key in the door
lock.
