Check that the battery is charged.
Inspect electronics module, handset,
cables, electric connections, HUD,
pneumatics hoses and oxygen sensors.
Mount top plate on top of scrubber,
check O-rings (2 O-rings).
Mount end plate in the bottom of
scrubber, check O-rings and sponge
(3 O-rings).
Install scrubber into cartridge housing,
tighten the four screws by hand.
Attach BC and harness to cartridge
housing.
Mount counterlungs.
Check valve.
Check hoses, mouthpiece, T-valves
and attach.
Check pressure, analyze, and attach
lled gas cylinders.

Attach IP diluent supply hose to
mouthpiece, tighten.
Attach HUD on to mouthpiece.
Attach IP diluent supply hose to inator.
Close OPV on right counterlung.
Negative loop pressure test.
Insert smart battery and conduct power-
up self-tests (see Start up procedure).
Prebreathe. It is very important to pre-
form a full prebreathe for a minimum of
5 minutes, while pinching your nose.
