Maintenance and Storage
Storing the hedge trimmer for short periods
Drain all fuel from the tank into a container approved for petrol.
Run the engine until it stops. Clean all foreign material from
the trimmer. Store it in a well-ventilated place that is out of the
reach of children.
Keep away from corrosive agents, such as garden chemicals
and de-icing salts.
Abide by all ISO and local regulations for the safe storage and
handling of petrol. Excess fuel should be used up in other
2-stroke engine-powered equipment or disposed of at your
local recycle centre.
Remove any coarse dirt.
Wipe the machine with a soft, damp cloth.
Storing the hedge trimmer for extended periods
All the above plus: Clean the air filter and replace the spark
plug with an exact replacement.
