3) Run installed PowerDot application, watch Safety Briefing and then follow on‐screen
instructionsonhow
toLocateandActivateyourPowerDotdevice(ordevices)forthefirstusage.

1) MakesureyoumobiledevicerunsiOS7.0orlaterandhasbuilt‐inBluetoothLEsupport(i.e.you
haveiPhone4Sorlater).
2) SearchforPowerDotMobileapplicationatAppleStore,download
andinstallitusingyourApple
ID.
3) RuninstalledPowerDotapplication,watchSafetyBriefingandandfollowon‐screeninstructions
onhowtoLocateandActivateyourPowerDotdevice(or devices)forthefirstuse.
TurningONandOFFthedevice
ToturnonyourPowerDotunit,holdtheTactileMultifunctionButtonforapproximately1second,until
main LED turns BLUE.When PowerDot is not in Stimulation mode (i.e. main LED is BLUE rather than
ORANGE),youcanturnitoffbyjustpromptlyclickingTactileMultifunctionButton.Whenin Stimulation,
you
wouldhavetoclicktwicetoturnonthedevice,asthefirstclickwillstoprunningStimulation(main
LEDswitchesfromORANGEtoBLUE)andthesecondclickwillturnOFFthedevice(mainLEDisOFF).
DeviceActivation
Before PowerDot device can be used for muscle stimulation, it needs to be activated from your
PowerDot Mobile application. When activated, your PowerDot device is programmatically locked to
your mobile phone and you won’t be able to activate or use your PowerDot from any other mobile
phone,untilyoudeactivateit
eitherprogrammatically(fromthe DeviceSettingsscreen)ormanually(by
holdingTactilePowerButtonfor10secondswhenPowerDotisturnedONandnotinStimulation).
IfyoudonothaveanyactivePowerDotde vices,activationscreenautomaticallyopensupforyouwhen
youlaunch PowerDotmobile application, otherwise,use
PowerDotMain Menuin orderto navigateto
theDeviceSettingsscreen.
