Selecting Stimulation Program and Muscle Group

Best Position During Stimulation

Follow app recommendations for body position and range of motion for safety and efficiency.

Advised Positions

Sitting, Lying, or Standing positions with minimal motion are advised for specific muscle groups.

Isometric Contractions

For powerful contractions, fix limbs for isometric resistance to prevent movement during contraction.

Starting Stimulation Session

Session Preparation

Ensure unit is charged, leads connected, pads attached. App checks connectivity and battery.

Controlling Stimulation Session

Adjust intensity, use Channel Lock, or switch between devices for synchronized or independent control.

Main Timer Controls

Use slider to Pause, Resume, Stop, or Skip current phase (e.g., Warm Up).

Pausing or Stopping Stimulation

Stop via app slider, button click (emergency), or unplugging USB (last resort).

PowerDot Stimulation Programs

Program Overview

App offers built-in programs for performance and aesthetics, integrated into training plans.

Main Programs

Integrate into training plans to develop/maintain muscle performance during various stages.

Program Selection Factors

Selection depends on sports, objectives, training plan, and phase, guided by the app.

Endurance Program

Improves endurance & fatigue resistance. Targets slow fibers at 12 Hz for 40 min.

Resistance Program

Targets slow & fast fibers for endurance & strength. Runs at 55 Hz for approx. 110 contractions.

Strength Program

Targets fast fibers for pure strength. Runs at 85 Hz for 50 contractions.

Explosive Strength Program

Targets fastest fibers for speed & power. Runs at 105 Hz for 30 contractions.

Maximum Speed Program

Targets fastest fibers for speed & power. Runs at 120 Hz for 10 contractions.

Additional Programs

For post-training recovery, relaxation, or pre-training warm-ups. Less dependent on strict planning.

Active Recovery Program

Low frequency twitches for 25 min to improve blood flow, flush lactic acid, release endorphins.

Potentiation Program

Efficient warm-up before events. Applies low, medium, high frequency impulses to prepare muscles.

Massage Programs

Use low frequency, low intensity twitches to relax muscles, improve circulation, and promote anti-stress recovery.

General Usage Guidelines

Pad Placement Guidelines

Use only app-advised placement setups. Move pad to find strongest contractions and best comfort.

Body Positions & Movement

Position varies by pads/muscles/program. Powerful contractions require isometric fashion (fix limbs).

Intensities Adjustment

Increase intensity for maximum fiber recruitment. For twitches, increase until visible twitches appear.
