ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE USE

ASSEMBLY

Inserting SDS Max drill bits or chisels

Slide collar back, insert bit, twist to align, release collar. Bit is securely held.

Removing the SDS Max drill bits or chisels

Slide collar back, remove bit, release collar. Keep bits clean and greased.

Auxiliary handle

Loosen, turn counter-clockwise for desired position, and re-tighten firmly for safe operation.

Depth stop

Loosen auxiliary handle, adjust drilling depth on depth stop, then retighten auxiliary handle.

OPERATING THE MACHINE

Switching on and off

Press the on-off switch to turn on, release to turn off.

Overload clutch

Interruption of drill spindle drive if bit jams. Hold machine firmly with both hands.

Operating modes

Tool can be set to different modes by turning selectors. Trigger switch slightly when changing.

Hammer drill mode

Produces impact force with turning. Suitable for drilling concrete and bricks.

Chisel mode

Produces only impact force. Suitable for chiselling concrete and bricks.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

Keep ventilation slots clean, clean housing with soft cloth, use soapy water if needed.

Lubrication

Apply grease to the base of the drill/chisel before inserting into the drill head.

Sharpening the Chiselling Tools

Sharpen chisels regularly with a grinding wheel for good performance and life.
