Why is my PowerTec Air Cleaner system so noisy and vibrating?

  If your PowerTec Air Cleaner system is vibrating or noisy, consider these possibilities: * Inspect all hardware and retighten or replace any loose parts. * Check the position of the motor fan and cover; adjust or replace any loose or damaged parts if the fan is rubbing. * Replace worn motor bearings if they are loud. * Inspect and reposition the air filters if they are rattling. * Turn off and unplug the machine before inspecting the impeller for bent or damaged areas. Secure the impeller on the motor shaft and replace it if damaged. * Tighten any loose fasteners on the motor base within the cabinet.

  If the motor of your PowerTec Air Cleaner stalls or lacks full power: 1. Have a qualified electrician check the circuit for proper voltage. 2. Replace the motor capacitor if it has failed. 3. Inspect or replace the control panel circuit board if it has failed.

  If the motor of your PowerTec Air Cleaner isn't running, there are several potential causes: 1. Ensure the power cord is properly plugged into an electrical outlet. 2. Check that the power switch is in the "ON" position. 3. If the switch or cord is faulty, consider replacing them. 4. Replace any blown fuses (see page 13 for instructions). 5. If using the remote, point it directly at the control panel, ensure the infrared sensor isn't blocked, and move closer for a better signal. 6.
