The Powerware 9150 is designed to fully comply with LanSafe III/
FailSafe III Power Management Software and OnliNet

Strategic Power
Management Software. If any other software is used, the pin
configuration should be verified.
The RS-232 interfaces use 9-pin, D-sub connectors. The information
includes data about the utility, the load, and the UPS.
NOTE The RS-232interface must notbe connected to anyutility connected circuits.
Reinforced insulation to the utility isrequired.Thecommunicationsequipmentandthe
UPSshouldbeproperlygroundedbeforeconnectingordisconnectingacommunication
cable.
